Alisha is the party girl of Misfits. Her ability makes anyone who touches her lustful, sending them into a frenzy, causing them to describe their desires aloud and in graphic detail; however, her “partners” have no recollection of the act or connection to her afterward. She has no control over this, much to her distress. Alisha discovers her power moments after Tony is killed when Curtis grabs her arm to stop her from leaving, even further when she touches Simon who under the effect says ‘I wanna piss on your tits’ (s1).
Alisha’s power may have had a negative effect on how social life, but had a positive effect on her personality. She finally realized how men treated and looked at her, and it wasn’t something that she enjoyed as much as she thought she would. Because of her power, she never thought she would be loved or looked at as being attractive for more than just her body…until Simon.

Simon is a shy social outcast, who is sentenced to community service for arson. Simon is depicted as the smartest individual of the group. Nervous to speak up, but desperate to make friends, Simon tries his hardest to be heard and accepted by the others, which helps to fuel everyone else’s suspicion that he’s a little odd. His special power is invisibility, which is reflective of his personality in that he often feels ignored.
Simon always seemed to feel alone in a world full of people. He always had good intentions and is a very noble and loyal being, but still no one seemed to understand him down to his core. He lacked confidence and felt as if he was loved by no one…until Alisha.
Simon & Alisha
Simon & Alisha are two characters that some Misfits fans shipped, but never thought would happen. That was until Series 2. In 2x01, Simon was given a glimmer of hope when he thought that Alisha was interested in him (but we guess someone going down on you would have that effect). When he later asks her on a date, which she quickly rejects, he’s hurt again realizing that the feelings aren’t mutual. If only he knew what was to come.
In 2x03, Alisha, who for the past couple of weeks, has been followed by the mysterious Superhoodie, finally finds out who was behind the mask, and is shocked like us all when it is revealed to be none other than Simon. At first she seems very reluctant by it all, but also intrigued. She later goes and finds Present Simon and buys him a drink at lunch, where she thanks him for all that he’s done to protect him and apologizes for the ways she’s treated him in the past (all before she knows that they are meant to be together.) Then the game-changing moment happens: He tells her he never thought that she was a bitch and that he thinks it’s difficult for beautiful girls like her, which touches her soul more than anyone ever had.
Fast-forward a few hours later to another game changing moment, when Simon comes to see her and tells Alisha that she falls in love with him. She’s surprised, tells him to leave, but then later goes to see him, where they share an epic hug, and later have what we consider to be one of the hottest sex scenes in TV history. This leads to them being together but also keeping it a secret from the ones she’s close to. Alisha soon falls deeply for Future Simon, not knowing he had come back to die for her (which he did in 2x04. still tears).
Future Simon tells Alisha that she must fall in love with Present Simon in order for him to become what he needs to be. She knows that she will be happy again after she finds a picture of the two of them together in Vegas (her dream vacation spot). After this life changing moment, Alisha tries her hardest to get close to Present Simon, while all the while, keep the biggest secret of his life from him…which didn’t work out too well. In 2x06, Simon follows Alisha back to Superhoodie’s lair where it is revealed to him what he will become and how they are supposed to be together. Although this moment was erased after Curtis rewinded time, we are to assume a similar moment happened again because in 2x07, Simon and Present Alisha are very much together (and domestic might I add), both living in the lair. They finally were able to touch after Alisha sold her power, which only added another issue into their relationship: Simon’s lack of sexual experiences. While this isn’t a problem on Alisha’s end since she knew she would have to teach him, it only displayed Simon’s constant battle trying to compete with his future self.
What’s to happen next? Only Series 3 will tell!
